Stan Money a.k.a. S. Money was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. The first time he picked up a mic was at the age of 9. Since then, he's been sharpening his rap skills on school court yards, talent shows, house parties and night clubs. Stan Money made his first public debut in 1991 with his classic verse on the aforementioned Brothers 4 Tha Struggle “Frantic in the Inner City Ghetto” LP. Stan was featured on “Chop Chops”, along with Pratt Attack and Paycheck, which sold upwards of 500,000 copies and can still be heard blaring out of sound systems nationwide to this very day. Upon his release, triumphantly recovering from a 7 year penitentiary term, S. money continued his quest and life time dream of being a respected and loved lyricist. In 2003 His ability to flow free-style, landed him in front of well known celebrities such as RUDY RAY MOORE a.k.a. Dolemite, Ras'T a.k.a DUBFLEX, and Sparticus (of Kingston Jamaica). Stan Money (Stanley McShan) has a diversified syle. His music is head-boppin-inspirational. His songs will make you bounce, some will make you sad, while others promote positive thought. His gift to express his experiences will have listeners adopting his emotion. Not only is Stan Money a well rounded lyricist, he's also an author of short stories, poems and plays. Stan’s poem entitled 'Blessed Is He', was selected to be published in the book 'Eternal Portraits' during a national poem writing contest in 2004. His latest short story, "SHELL Black Pearl Of the Ghetto" is not just an excellent story, it's more like an audio movie.
